Cardamom
In Indonesian is 'kapulaga', commonly found in west java. Used for seasoning such as soto, gulai, and padang cuisine. You can buy it from traditional market in our country, with a thousand rupiah you will get 3 or 4 pieces (depending on the size)
Chili
This spice is not foreign to those who like spicy, you can find it many in java. There are 2 kinds, great chili and small chili, small chili is more spicy than great one and the tree of this is more resistant to disease and changes in weather. We in Indonesia commonly use it for fresh vegetables (not cooked) and eat it with fried tempe, fried tofu, bakwan, and other foods that are fried. It can also be used for dishes like sambal goreng (if you come to Yogyakarta, you will find it together with gudeg)
